What is the difference between pending and when it goes straight in?

This has to do with businesses’ return policies. If your transaction is pending, it means it has to wait for the businesses’ specified return policy timeline before it can be cleared.

When will the pending transactions clear?

When the return policy for the retailer has been met. Generally, this is between 30-90 days and will be stipulated in the terms and conditions from the business.

I can’t see my transaction listed after making a purchase; what do I do?

If your transaction hasn’t appeared within 5 days, please get in contact with us and we will investigate why.

How long until an online purchase credit shows?

This can take up to 5 days.

I made a transaction with my linked card with a business listed as a partner with GiveShop. However my group never received the money.

Please check to ensure you have selected your group, and/or check that the card you used is the one that is linked to your GiveShop account. Once you have checked those, please get in contact with us and we will investigate the problem. Sometimes businesses can change POS providers and we don’t know about it.
