If I link my credit card and use it at my local cafe, do I need to tell the cafe so I get a discount?

As long as the cafe is on the iSponsor app you do not need to inform the cafe. Just continue your normal life for in-store shopping as long as you use your registered bank card.

When I shop through GiveShop, does my purchase processing change?

Nope! You pay the same! How good!

Does the returns policy change when I buy something through GiveShop?

Return policies are the same. This is why some purchases take 90 days to clear on your leaderboard.

How can I find businesses in my area?

There is a map functionality in the app. Otherwise the app will automatically show you if you have your location on.

How can I tell the difference between businesses that are online and ones that I can shop at in-store?

There are online and in-store categories in the app to show you which businesses offer what.

I purchased from a registered business in-store but used a different card at checkout. Does my group still get the money?

Unfortunately not, you must purchase using your registered bank card in order for GiveShop to recognise the transaction.

What portion does a group receive? Is it a flat % on the value of the sale?

Each business may offer a different percentage. Just pop in the app and check out what’s on offer. Your group will receive 100% of the advertised sponsorship amount.

If a purchase is made through an alternative method like Afterpay or Zippay does it still count towards fundraising efforts?

This is a thorn in our side and for some, it is yes, and for others, it is a no.
